Juicing Recipes - Which Juicer?

Recently in Juicing Recipes I mentioned, not to race and and buy a juicer. You might even have equipment in your kitchen that will work for you.

On this note I saw last week in Aldi a food processor blender that had a citrus juicer ( reamer), plus a juice extractor, a food processor and blender all for $ 99 aud. This also grates, slices. has a chopping blade. An amazing combination.

I have owned many different types of juicers and currently have a Samson 6 in 1, which we bought primarily for juicing our homegrown wheatgrass, 3 years ago.

This replaced a Healthy Juicer - Manual Hand Powered Wheatgrass Juicer - Wheat grass juicer and a centrifrugal juicer like the L'eqiup pictured below

There are differing opinions on what's the best one.

Johnathon Hardcastle has an good article titled "Finding the Perfect Juicer"
where he discusses this : " The main reason why there is not a "perfect" juicer is because different fruits and vegetables have vastly different properties. This ultimately means that a juicing method which is effective for a particular type of fruit may not be the best choice for another.......

What I have discovered is that the Samson produces more juice per kilo of fruit and vegetables than L'Equip, but is not as good for soft fruits, which I prefer to blend and then add to the juice.
