Juicing Recipes : A Synergistic Blend


Making a juicing recipe that has a synergistic blend of ingredients was given to me by my Naturopath friend Penny when we were staying at her home one weekend.

Synergistic: A mutually advantageous conjunction where the whole is greater than the sum of the part
A synergistic juicing recipe:

2 carrots
2 sticks of celery
1 green apple
1 knob of ginger

Wash all vegetables and cut to fit your juicer. If you don't have a juicer, cut pieces up and blend with filtered water. Suggest half a cup, but adjust to your liking.


The benefits of this juice are good, as it has the nutrients of beta-carotene, folic acid, vitamin C, calcium, and potassium.

Benefits from this juice:

  • Will help detoxify and cleanse your body.
  • An energy juice
  • Assist your immune system
  • Assist the body's metabolism, hence the digestive system
  • May be skin beneficial
